Siargao Island: In My Quiet Space

I’ve recently set a few unlisted YouTube videos to Public, so they’re now visible on my channel. I’ve also shared new ones.

Here’s a look back at one of my days while working in Siargao.

Sometimes I like it when it’s very quiet, I don’t like chat windows popping up or people bothering me while I’m working. This is my comfort zone whenever I’m there, I either work on my artworks or simply chill- it just feels like home.

This was before super typhoon Odette’s wrath, it’s a good thing I was able to submit everything for a big project, before we all went off the grid after the storm.

On this day, last year, I, same as with everyone else in Siargao Island, was disconnected from the rest of the world. Needless to say, on the first day of it all, I was in a state of panic.

Experiences like that do make you realize there will always be situations beyond your control, hence there’s the powerful prayer:

“Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
and Wisdom to know the difference.”
