Ubud, Bali, Indonesia
31 Dec – 5 January 2023
Happy New Year!
It’s 2023 and I have grown back into a woman (hahah— hopefully an even better and stronger one) that my idea of fun is now filled with more depth rather than finding distractions— well I needed those. Now I know what I clearly do not want.
Sharing with you today a few snapshots of some of my favorite details from my day-to-day walk in Ubud. It’s great to travel outside the country again after the pandemic. Wow, that lockdown was tough!
Here goes the photos 🙂
A lot of things have changed or am I the one who has changed? I remember Nanang Art Shop clearly though.
I haven’t been to this side of town, I’m sure of it. There were some corners that I was seeing for the very first time such as this Bali Wine Store.
Monkey Forest at night time on the way towards Blue Door and other bars
Visited Ibu Rai Gallery
Bali’s gods and mythical creatures always fascinate me
Totally loved this display, I’d like to have one in my near-future home.
Lazy Cats Cafe is too hyped it was full when I got there
This is absolutely my statement cafe
Clear Cafe, however, is my favorite vibe. Stunning and inspiring interior. Excellent food and service. It gets packed at dinner time so plan ahead.
Doses of art
Met the artist, Pandi, back in 2018. This is across his art studio.
And viola, these rooftop restaurants are for your romantic dinners or sunset drinks. Swear, these places didn’t exist before. I would have known.
The staff here is kind of weird, unlike the folks at Canggu’s Beach Clubs, I think they need more training- but the view’s absolutely mindblowing!
And finally, heaps of local dishes.
If you plan to eat Western food, eat them here in the Philippines or in other countries, not in Bali. Go for local.
