Started the year by veering away from the usual New Year sceneries. With the momentum and creative inspiration from the trip, I totally nailed that decision.🌞
From the days in Ubud, here are glimpses of Canggu.
Sunset views are vivid. People flock around a certain spot and sit to catch the sun slowly melts into the horizon.
It’s a ritual. Two shots above from La Brisa!

Towards sun down. I was able to catch DJ Shammui’s Musical Journey at 707 Beach Berm. Euphoria!

Despite getting extremely disappointed and horrified by the endless trash I found at the beach, I got fond of Canggu— as I’ve decided to focus on the things that I could control and part of it was not to throw garbage on the beach! I hope that the Bali government does something about it soon or they’ll destroy the beach completely. After all, beach clubs can’t be called beach clubs without the beach.
I also liked the souls that I’ve gravitated to, not only in Canggu though, but also while in Ubud.
Canggu has that laid-back vibe that Bali generally has and certainly, it has a mix of activities you’d like to enjoy while traveling.
And we dance to all of that!❤️🔥
