Continuing my recent Summer Series photo palette (orange-y, sunset, earth tones) on my digital paintings. Got an immediate feedback from Sarah, she says it’s great, she likes it and it’s nothing like the artworks I used to share. I know. The vibe of this piece is emanating like a light from my chest. I told her, it must be the mark of a new era. I added, “It also means, I’m inspired.” (Facts)

I kind of looked back a bit on the artworks that were drawn from my mental and emotional state in 2023… and aside from Rebirth, of course, the most significant series was- The Pink Pepe Beach Chronicles. I totally enjoy this series! With a little bit of sarcasm and some bluntness mixed in them, honestly, but on a positive note, it’s more about grounding or putting certain situations in their place. It’s the art version of Brianna Wiest’s “If you want to change your life, you are going to stop being in denial about your personal state of affairs. You are going to have to get real with yourself.”
