REUNION WITH ULUWATU

I created a poem about Bali last night:

If Ubud was healing
and
Canggu was fun,
Uluwatu is the one!💍

Drifter Surf was my first stop.

Food and coffee were good, and you will find tons of collectibles in their shop.

I prefer places that keep the traditional beach and surf vibe alive versus the upscale city-like spots where the air can be stiff.

A charming little beach corner in Bingin Beach. It’s lovely!

The sand was thick and prepare to dig out your foot every now and then. It’s similar to the sand in Saud Beach in Ilocos, Philippines, just add the mini rocks— the sand in Saud’s more marshmallow-ish.

Taken in one of the cafes I’ve visited. What I’ve ordered in this cafe is all wrong! For sure they have a lot of great choices, but I chose the pair I didn’t seem to be happy about. I was probably only expecting too much, since I was in a neighborhood where everything’s a little pricey.

Melasti Beach in the morning satisfied my introvert soul.

Hatch on A Friday Night!

The event at Hatch, was honestly one of the main intentions of my trip, and Sriracha didn’t disappoint. Not one bit. Whatever I’ve read about her music, it’s accurate. No lies here, baby!

Hence, a legendary night of dancing. Hatch is a psychedelic treat! It’s also one of those spots where everyone can simply let loose and ‘set their spirit free.’ Quite the same vibe as 707 Beach Berm only that this place is bigger and feels as if I was at a festival.

The music was great, neon atmosphere dazzled, nothing awkward, there are corners where you can just be your weird self and no one’s gonna bother you, friendly staff and all. I’ll be back!

Overall Uluwatu vibe: REFRESHING.

P.S. I hope you guys got inspired by my previous blog post vs being totally triggered by it.
I’m sure there are two camps. Please talk to a friend if you’re on the latter🦁
