The Beach

I love the beach.

I cherish my photos and videos of them. Though there’s nothing that compares to the actual experience where I could feel the wind blowing on my face, hear the sound of the waves… and then I see in amazement how there are times when the waves reach me up to the ends of the shore and there are days when the tide is low that I could see what’s underneath those raging waters.

That feeling of how much of a gift nature is. I see its strongest way of being “it just is.” It gives. SO MUCH. It fills me up inside and I embrace its deep grandeur.

It gives enormously without taking anything back, at least on most days when the weather is good— I mean, when it’s mad, you know what happens, it takes away a great deal, even the lives of people.

We shouldn’t mess with it, and we need to take care of it, or it will end us all.
