I was browsing through my previous Procreate files earlier and found one of these pieces from my archive, just in time for Halloween.

Modern witches are not satanic.
If you’ve spent time around women who meditate or practice spiritual work, you’ve probably heard them refer to each other as a “witch.” It’s not about dark rituals, it’s them being magnetic, intuitive, and effortlessly alluring. Their energy draws you in, not through manipulation or pretense, but through authenticity. You feel it.
Historically, witches were labeled as satanic…especially under Christian traditions that feared female power and mystery. But many modern witches don’t even believe in Satan. Ironically, the truly “satanic” energies today often wear the mask of light: deceit disguised as kindness, control cloaked as care, jealousy pretending to be concern. And that, goes far beyond gender.
Witchcraft now is less about spells and more on connection. Connection to nature, energy, healing, and personal empowerment. As one Wiccan principle says, “Do what you will, but harm none.” Quite the opposite of evil.
After finding this old artwork, I decided to tweak it a little and a new piece was born!
This is all Procreate + Photoshop. A slight break from my current 3D series. I truly love how this turned out.

THE WITCH, LheanStorm, 2025
The feminine psyche as both the summoner and the summoned, a mirror encounter beneath the crimson haze of becoming. The figure, split in reflection, embodies the archetype of the witch: intuitive, exiled, and reborn! The city within her silhouette represents the structures she once upheld and now dismantles.
I feel like island souls can resonate with the final thought.
