These pages rarely get shown, yet they hold the decisions that shape everything else. Each line had a role, even the ones that didn’t make it into a finished piece. Especially those.
Not every drawing is meant to be completed; some exist only to refine the hand, the eye, the sense of what belongs.
Progress in art isn’t linear. It’s selective. Letting go is as much a skill as building. And I choose which works are carried forward into a finished piece.
