Not in Manila, Not Anywhere

Last Saturday, I felt like I wasn’t in Manila.. or anywhere, really.

It was that rare feeling of not needing to be anywhere else, simply content with the moment as it was. It’s true that sometimes it doesn’t matter where we are. The common denominator in every place we go is none other than ourselves: our subconscious programming and the way our nervous system operates.

Anyway.. the sunset was vivid. Big birds flew through the orange sky and around the trees. It made me smile. And at night, as I had completely forgotten, the Full Moon was right there in the sky, and it took me by surprise. The funny thing about the Full Moon is that it always feels like a gateway, and I like the reminders it gives me. Personally.

Then a little later, Nish played one of my favorite tunes as I was standing there, which surprised me again, and my entire week felt complete. Or I guess, my entire month of September.🧡
