A Look Behind My New Art Piece, “Presence”

 

I find this process so enjoyable that I’m about to complete a good, solid series.

 

 

 

PRESENCE says it all.

 

 

Thank you, El Nido, for being such an inspiring and safe space where my creativity can breathe. I feel so lucky to live in a place with one-of-a-kind landscapes and wild encounters that spark my imagination.

 

This morning, while biking, I spotted another new bird species. Two of them flew side by side, larger than doves, yet smaller than herons, with striking colors, their tails flashing deep red and blue! I gasped and paused to watch, but they disappeared quickly into the trees.

 

Still, the moment stayed with me. In awe! There’s something incredible about seeing creatures live so freely, a reminder that the wilderness is alive and brimming with wonder all around us.

 

Palawan is truly the best island in the Philippines.
