New Artwork: “Way Through”
I intended to finish this piece in full black and white, yet I became weary of seeing neutral shades and monochrome, it’s almost sad. Energetic tones consistently do sorcery to white or gray walls. Not a lie. Plus, it’s the Christmas season and however the pandemic limitations are going to go crazy again because of the occasion surge, there’s still countless reasons to be merry. I, for one, am guilty about feeling happy everytime I see that my fave goods are back in stock in the supermarket. (Sounds funny) Yeah, you’re not alone- the supermarket has surely become a sanctuary of delight this year! Most bars and some restaurants have shut and the grocery stores turned into the hottest spots in town. I used to just float through and pick important stuff- now I actually, truly see each thing in their actual shapes and colors. I Come Bearing Gifts…
One of the many artworks I’ve created this week as we close this year through quite a strange and challenging holiday.

Art Exhibit: The Price of Everything and The Value of Nothing
One of my works is currently in California, for the group show, “The Price of Everything and The Value of Nothing” put together by Thinkspace Projects which opened virtually (due to the ongoing pandemic) on December 1st. It’s ongoing till the end of December.
Art Process: Quarantine Nth Day
Sharing a quick view of my process for my piece, “Quarantine Nth Day.” Not a fan of highlighting the technical aspects of art, but here I’ve mixed an old discarded illustration of a dog and transformed it into a whole new piece of artwork. It’s therapeutic, fun, and exudes in the vibe of the finished artwork. It appeared to be bright against all thoughts behind it- the pandemic, the recent typhoon aftermath, which once again highlighted the pets left behind in homes as people escaped the floods, and all other not-so-pleasant scenario magnified by the media as I stay indoors. It’s been more than a year of travel-less confinement in my neighborhood and a little wait till the vaccine comes out, hence I’m totally feeling the title, “Quarantine Nth Day.” DROP ME A NOTE Your message & contact info will not be published. *All artworks are subject to availability.…
