After the work I’ve posted with the
divine birds, here’s another one I created while the weather was stormy this weekend.
I really enjoyed fleshing out the details here and bringing characters to life. It’s such a joy to work on.
Added the birds into it.
I thought of this piece as a way of ushering the typhoon out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility. But it’s also, in another sense, about leaving one place and stepping into another, a kind of post-eclipse energy!
