Mai Khao is officially my favorite beach in Phuket. This’ll be my spot, if I go back to Thailand.
I miss this place! Truth is, I wasn’t expecting the beachfront pool, it wasn’t anywhere on the hotel’s description and photos. I thought the nice pool below our villa and the other one next to it were the only ones I could be happy about. When we strolled to find the restaurant for my welcome drink– lo and behold! There’s another pool facing the beach! I was muttering, “Oh my God! This is a surprise, I attracted this: a dream come true!” At that time, the sun was about to set and the beauty all around me was beyond words.
