A Muse Is Never Just Anyone
Lately, I’ve found myself pulled into the world of Filipino music.
It probably has something to do with me being in El Nido, where I often hear these tunes playing in the background, especially when I’m at Prince Hypermarket. I guess I just wanted to feel more connected to the local culture, which, funny enough, is my own country. (Alright, I took a pause from Tech House and Techno.)
So, I jumped in. Not the surface-level kind, but the ones that hit deep, the kind you hear on a quiet night that suddenly makes you feel everything. The more I listened, the more I realized: damn, these songs are tagos hanggang buto! They feel like pages from someone’s diary, sung out loud.
Neon Jellyfish: When Art Becomes Reality
In 2021, I painted this vibrant neon artwork of a jellyfish. I’ve always been obsessed with glowing colors, especially under a blacklight in a dark room. There’s something so alive and otherworldly about that kind of glow!
Recently, this artwork found its meaning during a kayaking trip in Port Barton.
WIP in July: Adventures of the Octopus
I recently completed a project with over 30 digital artworks. After that, I felt the need to cut down on my digital usage.. including social media, so I’ve been spending more of my free time on traditional drawings and reconnecting with nature.
One of July’s WIP continues the subject on my fascination with the ocean.

“MINDBLOWN” LheanStorm, 2025
MINDBLOWN captures the raw, visceral impact of psychological revelation.
The central skull, formed in 3D, becomes a vessel of intensity and fragility. From its crown, dynamic lines explode outward like neurons firing, thoughts shattering, or truths being exposed.
