DIVINELY PROTECTED JOURNEY, Digital, LheanStorm, 2025
A little piece of this artwork comes from a forgotten sketch I did years ago.. on a tiny sketchbook I picked up in Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown. I was searching for rice paper (back when I was into Chinese calligraphy) but couldn’t find any. Still, I didn’t want to leave empty-handed, so I bought a sketchbook instead. ✨
Fast forward to now: I stumbled across those old doodles, photographed one, and blended it into this mixed digital piece.. combining illustration, 3D, and a lot of soul. It never stops amazing me how fragments from different times in my life find their way into my current work!🤓
Being here on the island certainly feels a Divinely Protected journey, definitely one that continues to shape and inspire me every day. Hence the title.
