I heard about this beach from an acquaintance who found it by accident, since I told her that I didn’t like the sand of central Ao Nang. She showed me the pictures of its white and powdery sand. Therefore, the next day, LheanStorm was there.
Not all of us got time to read everything on the internet, so when we go to a certain place, we discover most of it ourselves… and yes, there are indeed certain spots where tourists don’t go to. They usually flock around where everyone is.
Trust that there’s always a quiet spot no matter how tourist-y a place gets- e.g. Phuket. Just wander away from everyone else and you’ll find hidden wonders.
Getting to know a place is quite similar to getting to know a person, having that conversation… spending time together are the best ways to fully satisfy that gnawing curiosity.
Which reminds me lately what I find to be the most integral part of the healing journey.
It’s having the confidence to directly face anything or anyone that has the capacity to hurt you the most.
How you handle it will tell you if there’s still some work to do (go to a river or an ocean for purification, absorb the powers of the gods, etc. etc. etc. and all these wild, crazy steps only to find an ounce of courage lol) or you’re handling it way better this time around.
