BALI

BALI, Indonesia
October 2016

It’s been a while that I was feeling trapped and stuck in Manila. During the first half of the year, I had to go through a major surgery. Life had to slow down, I chose to only deal with the things that truly matter and conquer the most terrifying process around that. It won’t be so cool dying so early, there was so much to do, places to go, like-minded people to meet. I thought, “I haven’t even been to Bali yet!”

Fortunately, I lived, got healed and regained the quality of life! Going on this dream trip was a gift and a gateway to tons of inspiration. The moment I got home, one of my closest friends asked, “How’s Bali?” All I could honestly say was, “I wanna live there.”

Lotus Temple

If I had one (Bali) goal, it was to bask in this beautiful scenery

Balinese Mask

This is what I was telling my artist friends about. Artists have their own mini spaces along the streets. I loved it!

Down-to-earth, Warung, Biah Biah. Always packed, vibe was great

These fruit baskets though

Intricate temples

Reverse psychology

Namaste! Thank you for this chance to live.

There are still more places to see. I’ll be back soon, Bali!
