Notes on New Work
Details of one of the works I’ve been working on for so many days is up on my next post (currently password protected as I organize stuff). Not quite keen on sharing WIPs on my socials lately since I’m glued on the canvases.
New Series: The Art Lover
The Art Lover is my newest series combining my experimentation on 3D and my usual distinctive contemporary art styles. This series has been created for the artist and artist at heart showing different stories of an art lover as he/she navigates his/her daily creative existence. This aims to promote genuine love for art as well as to keep me connected to one of its purposes: to have fun!
I love exploring new mediums and processes and the NFT space has given me the opportunity to explore new techniques with digital tools. In my latest works, I incorporate some of my previous traditional artworks into my current pieces transforming them into brand new stories.
Creative Tools
Creating art has always been therapeutic, it also gives me a sense of balance. Although I have experimented with digital processes lately, I still use traditional medium. Disconnecting from the internet is important for my well-being, it helps fuel my creativity, so being able to create art while unplugged feels good to me.
I also doodle and browse ideas from sketchbooks, I simply prefer getting ideas from my previous notes and sketches versus looking for it from other artists. While out walking, I take photos and take inspiration from that, too.
