“One Night I Dreamt of Colors” Lhean Acrylic on Canvas 3ft x 4ft 2020 “One Night I Dreamt of Colors” is an artwork inspired by waking up from vivid layers of puzzling dreams. On this piece, I’ve experimented on techniques that I haven’t done previously and played with lighter density of color application on canvas than the usual thick and textured. What’s On Your Mind?
I recently got fresh pens and paper, thanks to phone shopping and delivery options which are truly helpful during this pandemic. Running out of art materials can be alarming when stores are closed. I’ve been working on pen and ink works on the side while finishing my paintings. This is the initial work on the series. Drawing– a healthy distraction from the local news’ heartbreaking stories. It’s a good time to create and let the pen flow.
