The other morning I was on my laptop by the window when I realized I hadn’t seen the cute little birds in a while. Sometimes, they show up in the early morning while I’m just about to wake up, chirping on the plants like my natural alarm clock.
These aren’t the usual brown city birds. These are wild, with flashes of yellow mixed with orange, their heads brushed with blue-violet to black. Absolutely rare creatures you’ll likely only find here in Palawan.
On a whim I called, “God, You there?”
One minute later a bird landed right on my bike outside the window! I was so stunned at first.
Unbelievable!
It’s not really the first time that God has responded to me in real time, but this one got me feeling even more that it’s not random and I’m now this close to the Divine.
After about five minutes of playing on my bike’s grip, the bird hopped onto the window as if to tell me something. It was the second time a bird had done that, and each time leaves me fascinated. I don’t know what kind of energy I must have now to summon such adorable, unique wildlife, but wow, it feels pure.
I’ve also had a moment like that before with Alpha, my heron. I was at the beach, looking up at the sky, talking to God, and all of a sudden the bird was illuminated right in front of me! It was the first time I’d seen Alpha fly so high, up into the clouds, totally astounding. What are the odds!?
In that instant, while I was asking questions, it felt like God replied by holding up a mirror, like- “Hey, this is exactly you.” Watching my bird soar so freely among the clouds felt unbelievably freeing and elevating. It just felt so EPIC!
Imagine me, barefoot on the beach, standing alone and looking up at the sky, talking to God… and then He showed me Alpha!
And yes, I talk about Alpha like it’s normal, but when I really think about it, that heron is a wild bird, not anyone’s pet.
One thing about these natural occurrences: they can’t be manufactured. I feel their authenticity in every small detail.
If you’ve been following my Insta stories, you probably already have more context about Alpha.
These stories show me that the Divine’s presence brings peace to the heart, grounding, and clarifying, even when life throws chaos my way.
In the end, it was simply a matter of choice💎
