I find dogs so clever. I am just so amazed.
Dogs never waste time playing mind games or leaving anything to chance— “It’s not in their vocabulary.” They are so direct although they cannot speak (and thank goodness they couldn’t do social media posts lol) they speak through their eyes and their body language.
I mean, just imagine if your dog could post IG stories, be cryptic about all that shit when all they want is for you to pet them or take them out for a walk? Haha. Funny when we put it that way. They make humans look dumb.
Communication is the most basic thing and dogs can do this quite explicitly with no room for doubt, without the ability to say words. Isn’t that amazing?
For us humans, despite being gifted with words, English— the universal language, and technology, we do a bunch of crazy things to avoid communication and the core of it sometimes is not being accountable for our own actions. (Unless if you’re a narcissist, that’s a normal thing for you, to act oblivious or to point fingers at someone else.) Beyond that, it’s either there’s a maturity concern, if totally unaware, or being vile doing it on purpose to manipulate towards a certain selfish motive or, well, blatant avoidance of something.
In my personal corner, when I want to find out about something, when I want to gauge a certainty of something I’m curious about, I never hesitate to find out— and yes it’s the quickest way to indeed discover if something or someone is being real or not— by reaching out. Communication, after all, builds trust. And yes the absence of it destroys it completely. If someone is all good with the lack of it, there’s no reason to invest any of your effort— if personal; and money— if in business.
This part is so basic. Right? I actually don’t need to write about this, but yeah, for the sake of sharing how in awe I am of doggos right now. 🙂
Past the initial step of it all, however, since humans have made themselves complex, effectively communicating then becomes a “skill” that we need to exercise.
